Jersey the Cat needs a home
Jersey came to Purrfect Pals after his owner took him to a public shelter because they couldn't manage his medical needs. Jersey is a big, easy-going guy who purrs and drools with happiness when cuddling or being petted by people. He's a lap-seeking, people loving, furry stress-reliever of a kitty. This boy is relaxed, mellow and a perfect family cat. He seems to tolerate other cats, but doesn't seek them out to play or snuggle. Jersey has FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease) which means crystals may form in his urine if he does not eat an appropriate prescription diet. It's important he stay on the prescription food to prevent the discomfort and potentially life-threatening blockage of his bladder/lower urinary tract from crystals. Jersey is a sweet, chill cat looking for a second chance at a forever home with someone who wants to be snuggled, rubbed on, and drooled on by a large friendly feline on a daily basis. Like all Purrfect Pals cats, Jersey has been viral tested, altered, microchipped and started on vaccines.
